The Structure

Open with it
Begin class with your story. Try one of these:
“I have a story for you…”
“As we move today, I invite you to think about…”
“An intention today is…”
“I have been thinking about…”
“Recently…”
02
Sprinkle it through
As class moves, weave words and images from your story into your cueing. A phrase here, a callback there. The story stays alive without being retold.
03
Loop back
End where you began. Return to the story and give them the “so what” — the thing they take off the mat.
